Here at APW caravan services we do all types of servicing, We can service or repair trailers, horseboxes, caravans and motor homes, we take our time doing a very in depth service and take much care in servicing your vehicle, we want to make sure your vehicle is 100% safe to be towed on the road for yourself and for other road users,  we also want to make sure your caravan or motor home is safe to use, with having gas, electric and water all on board, all could be a threat to you and your family if left unchecked and miss-used. we can do anything from a simple gas check to a full service.

Summary

Chassis service; This involves:

• All road lights and split charge circuits checked
• tyres checked for wear, dates checked and recorded, pressured to correct psi/ manufactures recommended psi (including spare tyre)
• spare wheel carrier checked
• Wheel drums removed, brake shoes checked, cleaned and adjusted
• all brake rods and corner steadies greased and checked
• chassis to floor bolts checked
• stabiliser pads/friction pads cleaned and checked
• conditional checks of breakaway cable, drawbar and coupling head
• jockey wheel stripped cleaned and re-greased

Internal service; This involves

• all locker doors and habitation door lockes lubricated
• Gas system pressure tested and appliance checked  (operational check only on appliances)
• 240v Electrical system and circuits checked including appliances  (operational check only on appliances)
• 12v systems and circuits checked including appliances
• Water system checked
• All internal windows, blinds and flyscreens checked, retensioned if needed
• cupboard doors checked and adjusted
• Full water ingress report, (damp report)

Full service: This is both above combined but saves you £30.00 

this is summary, please call if you would like a more in detailed report of what we do.

Please be made aware that if you're caravan or motorhome is in a manufactures warranty, you can only choose a full service to keep any warranty remaining validated.
